Aaliyah Daniel Haughton made her way into fame in 1994 when she released her debut album Age Ain't Nothing but A Numer. When she was just 15 the album was awarded Gold standing. It was done as a collaboration that was highly inspired by R. Kelly and it put the singer in the limelight. In 1996 she collaborated with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland on her second studio album One In A Million, that included the top-selling track If Your Girl Only Knew. Aarti uses both Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn for her professional names. While her initial career was dominated by minor television and film parts, she gained prominence in the mid-2000s. Apart from The Big Bang Theory, the other shows she has starred in are Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017.) Her commercials have featured big brands, like Volvo.
